Monday - Sunday: 6:30am - 11:30pm
Programs & Events
Drop in Shinny (19+)
Drop in hockey for patrons 19 years and older. Full hockey gear is required.
Skate & Shoot - All Ages
This program is not designed to host shinny/hockey games. All participants, including children, must wear full hockey gear. Slap shots are not permitted.
Public Skate
Drop in skating for all ages. Children under 8 years old must be supervised on the ice by an individual aged 16 years and up.
The Public Skating schedule is available to view online on the Recreation Online site.

Note there is no debit/credit/POS machine at the Fernie Memorial Arena. Drop in fees may be paid in cash, or by punch card. Punch cards are available for purchase at the Fernie Aquatic Centre.

The City of Fernie is not responsible for personal items left at our recreation facilities. If you left an item at the Fernie Memorial Arena, please go to the arena to check the lost and found bin. If you need assistance finding the bin, please check with the staff member on site.
