Reporting to the Director of Planning, the Manager of Planning is expected to strategically advance and manage the work program of the Planning Department. The Manager of Planning will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating updates to bylaws, managing planning projects, reviewing complex land use applications, overseeing applicable City appointed committees and preparing reports to Council.
The successful candidate will have experience working in the municipal sector or related area preferably in a fast paced environment. Experience in a resort or mountain community would be an asset.
