City Celebrates Francophonie Community

The City is flying the Francophone flag of British Columbia at City Hall in support of Month of La Francophonie.

Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique, on behalf of the students and community of École Sophie-Morigeau, requested the City fly the Francophone flag of British Columbia in recognition of Month of La Francophonie; a time to celebrate the diversity and vitality of the French language and francophone cultures.

The City celebrates cultural and linguistic diversity, and is lucky to be home to many  cultures and languages.
