2025 Dog Licence Renewal

2025 dog licences are now available at City Hall, and pet owners are reminded that licences need to be renewed annually.

It is a requirement under the Animal Responsibility Bylaw No. 2436 to have your dogs over the age of four months licenced with The City of Fernie. A licence tag helps bylaw enforcement officers to quickly identify your dog and get them back to you safely and promptly.

Licencing Fees and Charges

Neutered or spayed dog                             $15.00

Un-neutered or un-spayed dog                  $35.00
