Outdoor Recreation Amenities Open for the Season

The City of Fernie is pleased to announce the following outdoor recreation amenities are open for the 2024 season:
- Soccer fields at Max Turyk
- Tennis courts at James White Park
- Ball diamonds at Prentice Park
- Large ball diamond at James White Park
- Beach volleyball courts at the Fernie Aquatic Centre grounds
- Pickleball courts at Max Turyk
- Park washrooms
The sports fields and courts are open from May through October each year. The splash park at the Fernie Aquatic Centre will be opening in June.
The fields and courts are available for booking through the Parks, Facilities and Recreation department. To reserve a field or court, please visit www.fernie.ca/facilities, or call 250-423-4466.
