Notice of Zoning Bylaw Amendment - Bylaw No. 2523

Noctice is hereby given that a bylaw to amend Zoning Bylaw No.1750 has been scheduled for first, second and third reading on TUESDAY, December 10th, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the Senior Citizens Drop In Centre located at 562 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC. The proposed amendment bylaw complies with Section 464(3) of the Local Government Act. A public hearing will not be held for the proposed amendment bylaw and public input will not be collected, in accordance with Section 467 of the Local Government Act.
Council meetings are open for all members of the public to attend in person or watch electronically via Zoom webinar. Purpose: The applicant wishes to rezone their property from R3 – Medium Density Residential to RSS – Residential Small Scale. The proposed zoning allows for the applicant to build Small Scale Multi-Unit Housing.
