Notice of Zoning Bylaw Amendment - Bylaw No. 2523

Noctice is hereby given that a bylaw to amend Zoning Bylaw No.1750 has been scheduled for first, second and third reading on TUESDAY, December 10th, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the Senior Citizens Drop In Centre located at 562 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.  The proposed amendment bylaw complies with Section 464(3) of the Local Government Act. A public hearing will not be held for the proposed amendment bylaw and public input will not be collected, in accordance with Section 467 of the Local Government Act.

Bylaw: Bylaw 2523, cited as Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Amendment Bylaw No. 278, Bylaw No. 2523, 2024.

Purpose: The applicant wishes to rezone their property from R3 – Medium Density Residential to RSS – Residential Small Scale. The proposed zoning allows for the applicant to build Small Scale Multi-Unit Housing.
