Truth and Reconciliation

The City of Fernie is honoured to be joining Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi ‘it Administration for a flag raising ceremony on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

September 30th is a day to honour the children who never returned home, the Residential School Survivors, their families and communities, and the intergenerational impacts of residential schools.

Please join us for this important event at City Hall, starting at 10:00 am this Monday, September 30th.
