National Lifeguard Course
February 15 - 15, 2024 (4:00pm - 9:00pm)
The National Lifeguard Pool certification is designed to develop the fundamental values, judgment, knowledge, skills, and fitness required by lifeguards. The National Lifeguard course emphasizes the lifeguarding skills, principles, and practices and the decision-making processes that will assist the lifeguard in providing effective safety supervision in swimming pool environments.
Prerequisites: Bronze Cross (need not be current), Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED (Must be from a recognized agency)( Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, Canadian Ski Patrol, Heart and Stoke Foundation), 15 years old (by the last day).

Dates and Times:
February 15th & 22nd (Thursday) - 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
February 16th & 23rd (Friday)- 4:00 pm-9:00 pm
February 17th, 18th, 24th & 25th (Saturday & Sunday) 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Cost: $450 plus tax
The cost does not include a Lifesaving Manual or Pocket Mask. If these items are required, they can be purchased from the front desk.
Note: 100% attendance is required. If the minimum number of candidates (6) is not met, this class will be canceled with one week's notice.
