Special Council Meeting

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday July 18, following the Committee of the Whole meeting that begins at 6:00 pm.

Council will consider awarding the tender for the Mountview Dike & Mt.
McLean Drive Culvert tender in open session and will consider a labour relations
item in camera.

At this time, Council meetings are held electronically and open to the public to attend via Zoom. Meetings may also be viewed via a Facebook live stream from the City of Fernie Facebook page.

How to Participate in a Zoom Council Meeting 

Please note, you will not be able to participate in Council meetings using Facebook Live Stream and comments will not be monitored during the video stream. To participate in a Council meeting, you will need to attend the meeting using Zoom.

If you are unable to access a meeting online, members of the public may view the meeting from the Specified Place, currently located at the city’s Operations Facility (1492 Railway Avenue). Attendees may enter the facility via the main entrance doors and are required to sign-in upon arrival. All COVID-19 safety protocols must be followed, and attendees must remain quiet during throughout the proceedings unless authorized to speak during the public participation period.
