Fernie OCP Update: Round 2 Engagement

Fernie’s future is taking shape - and we want your input.
The City of Fernie is moving into Round 2 of the Official Community Plan (OCP) update, building on what we heard from the community in Round 1 (Fall 2025). We’re bringing forward emerging core values and exploring priorities to help guide how Fernie grows and changes over time.
There are several ways to participate:
Join us at Fernie Future Fest on April 22 (5–7 p.m.) at the Fernie Family Centre (521 4th Avenue) for a fun, family-friendly event with free pizza, interactive activities and opportunities to share your thoughts.
Complete a Fernie Future Workbook on your own or with others. Download the workbook or pick one up at City Hall (available April 22).
Every completed workbook will be entered into a draw to win one of five $100 gift cards to a local Fernie business.
