Outdoor Rink Closed for the Season

Due to warmer temperatures, we are no longer able to safely maintain the ice surface at the Outdoor Community Rink and it is now closed for the season.
The City would like to thank everyone who helped make this another successful season of outdoor skating. We would like to offer a special acknowledgement to Art Sombrowski who volunteered his time to keep the ice surface free from snow all season long.
Anyone still looking to lace up their skates this season can check out public programming scheduled at Fernie Memorial Arena.
We look forward to seeing you again in December 2022!
