Temporary PARKING BANS

The public is advised that Temporary Parking Bans are in place to accommodate production for filming in Fernie of the movie Hard Powder starring Liam Neeson.  Temporary Parking Bans will be in place as follows:

• City parking lot adjacent to the Royal Canadian Legion on 1st Avenue from Friday, April 7, 2017 to Tuesday, April 11, 2017 inclusive.
• Fernie Memorial Arena located at 1092 Highway 3 from Sunday, April 9, 2017 to Wednesday, April 12, 2017 inclusive.

All vehicles must be removed from the lots prior to these dates. 

In addition 2nd Avenue (5th St to 8th St) and 5th Street (1st Ave to 2nd Ave) will have intermittent parking and traffic interruptions during filming on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
