Temporary Bypass to Elk River

In accordance with the Ministry of Environment's Operating Permit, the City will be conducting a temporary bypass of treated effluent to the Elk River. Due to spring melting and recent rains the bypass is necessary to dispose of excessive amounts of stormwater in the sanitary sewer collection system.

The Bypass will take place from March 24, 2015 through to March 31, 2015.  For further information please contact the Operational Services Department at City Hall 250.423.6817.
