Emergency Water Shutoff in the Annex

City crews are responding to a watermain leak in the Annex. An emergency water shutoff is in effect while repairs are underway. -
City Hall Closed June 1 for Front Steps Repairs

Over the next week, the City will be completing repairs to the concrete front steps at City Hall. Due to construction activity, City Hall will be closed to the public on Monday, June 1. -
Spring Freshet Preparation

The City of Fernie forms a Flood Response Committee each spring during freshet, when water levels in our rivers and streams rise due to spring run-off. The Committee ensures we are monitoring river levels and forecasts, and that we are prepared to activate our Flood Response Plan.
