The nomination period has closed and the Chief Election Officer has issued the Declaration of Candidates for the 2026 General Local and School Election

Take notice that in accordance with Section 645 of the Local Government Act the following properties, together with improvements situated thereon, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Annual Tax Sale on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Fernie City Hall unless delinquent taxes with accrued interest are paid prior to the start of the Tax Sale.

Fernie City Council will consider first and second reading of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2555, 2026 at its Regular Meeting on September 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fernie Senior Citizens Drop-In Centre (562 3rd Avenue).
