Skate Park Grand Openning

It’s time to celebrate the grand opening of the City of Fernie’s new all-wheel Skate Park!

Join us on Thursday, May 16 from 4-8pm for a free family-friendly event including demonstrations, music, food trucks, exciting prize draws and swag!

Plus, calling all Fernie residents interested in learning how to skate! Join New Line Skateparks for a free Learn-to-Skate session for kids on Friday, May 17, from 10am-12:30pm.

The City of Fernie gratefully acknowledges the Federal and Provincial grant funding that made this new amenity possible, and the additional funding from Teck, the Resort Municipality Initiative, and Columbia Basin Trust to add a roof structure over part of the skate park.
