Hydrant Flushing

Our water department has started the annual task of hydrant maintenance and main line flushing, and will be working over April and May in the Maintown and Northlands neighbourhoods.
This preventative work helps improves water quality and maintain adequate flow and pressure throughout our water distribution system.
You may notice water temporary changes to water pressure and/or discolouration in your water as we complete flushing in your neighbourhood. This is normal and can be resolved by running a cold tap for a few minutes until the water clears.
